Presidente Banquet Hall seemed like a good place at first glance. I had attended a wedding at this location in the past. Unfortunatley things between my fiance and I did not work out. In speaking to Joe. The "Owner" of Presidente I explained that the wedding would not be happening. Joe advised that should he fill the venue with another wedding then I would recieve my deposit back. He assured me that eveything would be fine and he seemed so genuine. When the date was approching I contacted Joe and was informed that he gave the date away to another couple, but I could not have the deposit back because it was his friend who he had allowed to have his wedding for free. Make sure you get any information regarding deposits in writing and don't trust the word of an individual who is responsible for profiting from the event. I in turn paid for another couples wedding. This venue is affordable. I guess in reality you will get what you pay for. I am very glad that the deposit in not worth my effort.. That being said it's very worth writing this review in hopes that I can prevent someone from making the same mistakes I did and take someone by work alone. Nobody can see these things happening to them. Get everything in writing and trust nothing to the honesty of this business. I have also be told by many other vendors during our conversations about refund that they find this practice disgusting but it happens. So congrats to the couple who's wedding I paid for and congrats to you.. be warned!
